If you have a blog that’s at least 1 year old with more than 20 posts, you have something of value. You may not think you do if you’ve never been able to generate sales or revenues from your blog. But life is full of things we underestimate.
You’ve heard of the expression, “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.”
Mentioning someone in your blog or just adding them to an older blog post only takes 90 seconds to do. But for the person being mentioned, your one blog post could mean the difference between being on page 2 of Google under a search and jumping to page 1. That’s a huge difference in the number of potential clients, customers, users, and readers he gets to stand in front of.
Now, if you have thousands and thousands of regular readers and subscribers and followers on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Google+ etc… then being in your blog is worth even more.
So if you’ve got something you’re promoting (your business, your website, your company, your blog, your app, etc), find bloggers who are willing to feature you in their blog.
When you expose yourself to the world, you’d be amazed at the people who come out of the woodwork and ask to
1. advertise on your site
2. sell your products from their stores
3. interview you for a news show… etc.
